And by box...

I mean the normal constrains of the typical, taxpaying, middle class American mind. I qualify for all of the above but my mind does not operate within the normal parameters of that mindset. I view Cannabis as a gift from God, the same as with all of His creations. I believe that Cannabis is mentioned in the Christian Bible and the Hebrew Tanakh and it's a pretty simple translation/correlation if you allow yourself to see it. I believe mankind as a whole struggles with true self awareness, this being especially true in America. I encourage everyone to explore the depths of themselves a little more thoroughly, to understand the why behind your beliefs, reactions and morality. Good luck!

Battling Progress...

Over the past several days I've been working feverishly on The Plan.  In doing so, I've been corresponding with some of the "heavy hitters" when it comes to reforming current Cannabis laws. My frustration comes from those that advocate the current system. This frustration comes from state representatives, members of congress and graduate school professors. It becomes painfully apparent, after only a few messages, that the majority of these public figures do not possess the ability to think freely. All the responses seem scripted; even worse, these people apply them even when they are not applicable to the context of the debate. There are very legitimate concerns on both sides of the argument. Why aren't we "talking things out" with open minds instead of perpetuating a cycle of ignorance and lies? Why are these figures only familiar with the "facts & figures" that substantiate their beliefs and agendas? Also, how the hell is the DEA considered to be a "non-biased researcher" when it comes to marijuana figures? How are professors allowed to shape a generation of minds with their propaganda and no one is stopping their personal bias from entering the classroom? 

Does the very essence of being able to "think outside the box" lie within Cannabis itself? Or is it the person that uses Cannabis, naturally more inept to think about the obscure angles? Either way it seems to present quite the conundrum. It frustrates me but does not deter me, it motivates me. As it should you, the time for change is  upon us, what are you doing to be a part in it?
